After several selections, the current specimens of German Pointer with short hair were obtained. They are well known and appreciated in Germany, France, England and USA.

The head is porportional with the body, broad skull, a it cambered, long snout with a big nose, wide, mobile and brown. The eyes are medium sized, almond-shaped and amber colour. The ears are wide and long, round ended. The tail is wider at the base, caught up and cut with a 1/3 or a half and it carries it horizontally.
