There are six breeds that originate in Hungary. Probably the most fascinating of them all is the Komondor also referred as ,, mop dog’’. It is a very muscular flock guardian dog that has a very unique look due to his long corded coat. The Komondor knows no fear being capable of fighting any enemy that threatens the flock, even the bear or lynx. Another beautiful breed that originates in Hungary is the Vizla. This breed is the smallest of the all-round pointer-retriever breeds but don’t let that fool you, this dog is a natural hunter that has an incredible nose and great trainability. The Vizsla also makes the perfect companion for an active person that loves to exercise.
